Hello!  My name is Joe Jennings and I’m a skydiving stunt coordinator and free fall cameraman in Los Angeles California.  I took this photograph last year for RedBull as the pilot, Luke Aikins, and skydiver, Andy Farrington, practiced for a stunt they would later attempt over the Arizona desert.

I love this photo for number of reasons:  It’s dramatic and beautiful and it captures precision piloting, precision skydiving, and more innovation than you can imagine built into a one of a kind small airplane that can maintain a controlled dive using a specially built auto pilot system. 

And it exemplifies AERIAL STUNT SERVICE’s mission:  to connect you, the producer, with expert aviators and trained skydivers who have dedicated themselves to becoming the best in their chosen disciplines.  There are many disciplines, and no one is an expert in all of them, so our job is to point you to performers who are the right fit for the action you need to film, even if we’re excluded.

By letting the best among us shine, we contribute to the improvement and evolution of skydiving stunts, and that’s a worthy cause.
